Heidi: “I didn’t think that was really one of the last times that I would see her.”

It isn't because the land is holy. It's because Israel (a country whose borders were decided by the Allies of WWII) is basically an occupying force to the Palestinians that live there, and their land keeps getting annexed and houses bulldozed so that Israelis can settle it.

Netanyahu is about to play himself. This whole mess has real wag the dog vibes. He doesn’t want to go to jail so he decides to poke the bear and raid a mosque during holy month for reasons? But bombing a building that housed media was a bridge too far (as far as government appearances go). Biden’s probably going to do

Much of the P.E. misery was trying not to fart. Jumping jacks will always have that association for me.

Fran Lebowitz is wrong about people growing more conservative as they age. It’s a myth. The reality is that rich people live longer and rich people tend to skew Republican.

Same. It’s absolutely a step down for her at this point in her career.

I really see a daytime talk show as a bad choice for Tiffany Haddish... She’d kill it, but it feels like a way to wind up a career and I think she has the potential to do so much more. She’s had some success but I don’t think she’s reached anywhere near her theoretical peak.

Lopez does one of my all-time favorite pieces of physical acting in that movie, when after she grabs the shotgun from the trunk, she walks along the side of her car and without breaking stride just slams one of the doors closed with her hip.

Out of Sight is always a pleasure to watch. Something about Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney, they really sold it on screen together in that one.

I am here for ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the looks in the Jenny from the Block video - including hot young Ben.

Ah, but he’s a prince and therefore doesn’t deserve our sympathy or benefit of the doubt. Clearly he’s only speaking out on these painful, personally lived issues to get money and attention, despite the fact he’s got both in spades (probably more than what he bargained for where the latter’s concerned).

It’s almost as if the $hit he’s gone through has caused him to be inconsistent and a little crazy. I’m not seeing anything sinister here, just a guy who’s tried to do what his family wanted and found he just couldn’t so when the chance came to run from it, he took it. We should all be so sane. No sarcasm.

I’m having 4 teeth ripped out of my head next week and have squirreled-away enough Norco to sink the Hesperus. Plus they’re giving me an IV drip of propofol, of all things, and I didn’t even ask. I hope your work tomorrow is as much fun as mine is promising to be!

While I think that the film is well written and very good, I always had issue that a Latina woman’s power in the end is due to a white man who grants her an inheritance due to her being a magical chica...

I’m with you and I feel ashamed about it :(

Full disclosure: I have an unexplainable, long-rooted visceral dislike of Olivia Munn. And until now, that black hole of scorn has been light-years from the luminous love I feel for J. Mulaney.

Yeah, for some reason I thought he was an atheist, which made me like him even more. Honestly, this is why I shouldn’t read about celebrities private lives, I’m a huge fan of Mulaney, but reading that he might attend an evangelical church (and worse, possibly even Hill Song!) and that he’s dating the ever thirsty Munn

I feel like “raised Catholic” is the group LEAST likely to attend church as an adult, but I may be biased.

Knives Out was badly written? You really want to criticize someone else's writing?

Honestly the most depressing part of this to me is that he goes to church. Did he always go to church? I have no idea but I’m super sensitive to people finding religion when getting sober. It happened to me & I felt pretty hosed a year or so down the road when I came back to my senses. It’s easy to grasp at shit when
