No. I’m pretty sure 70% of people could elect an individual if no one in Portland voted for him. My point is only that given the relatively large population of Portland, it would be idiotic to imply it is any less Maine than any of the backwoods towns.

Portland is 1/3 of the population. Ergo everywhere else in Maine is less Maine than Portland.
