Mackey is a nut. Thankfully his board of directors is far more level-headed. I remember a few years ago when he started talking about getting rid of all the junk food and only selling health food. He almost lost the company.

I don’t feel superior when I shop at WholeFoods. Everyone there is younger, hotter and in way better shape than me. (Or older, hotter and in way better shape than me.) And the yoga pants, by God the yoga pants...

Back in 2002(?) when we voted yes/no for union representation, our store leadership was very fair about it. No horror stories or visible biases (or shitty corporate videos), just framed the decision as maintaining the status quo vs. unknown changes. We voted it down.

I ditched AI Philly after nine months and the realization that my “working professional” teachers didn’t give a shit about teaching and were just there to pick up an extra check. Didn’t learn a damn thing I hadn’t already learned in high school.

Yeah, that drove me nuts—especially after last week’s battle.

Retiring to a non-U.S.-extradition-treaty country, I’m sure.

Doesn’t help not being grouped with the other major news networks in cable lineups. I’m in DC and even here Comcast doesn’t offer AJAM in HD.

Hope they can get their shit together. Easily the best news/journalism on TV.

They’re “completely sustainable, zero carbon,” as Musk puts it.

They’ve already announce you’ll be able to stream your XB1 games to your PC to play them in Windows 10. Pretty much the same thing.

Main argument against the band is that while the hardware and sensors are great, the software is still seriously lacking. It also doesn’t help that Microsoft apps tend to compete against each other. For instance, if you have the app for the Band, Microsoft Health, it interfered with Bing Health (another Microsoft

Did they still have announcers and do all the jumbotron graphics and stuff?
