I don't mind the eye-candy, but I agree. She just doesn't act well in sci-fi/fantasy or anything not set in the present day. Seems like one of those actresses that is really only comfortable playing herself.

Because that's what makes them different/foreign to the audience, and there's only one audience that matters in the mind of Hollywood producers.

Well, if nothing else it would probably help mankind survive for longer than we will on our current path. Besides, everything I need to know about post-apocalyptic survival I've already learned from Walking Dead. I mean, without any zombies it'll be easy as shit.

Shouldn't there still be some people around who know exactly what happened to it? People who helped organize/coordinate the fair, workers who sealed it up at the end, etc. Mid 60's wasn't that long ago.
