Yes! I keep thinking the same thing "this totally idyllic town with a snake gang and teachers sleeping with students and maple syrup feuds and none of the teachers at this small high school notice the student living in the closet and also the mayor is getting bribed and also there are a bunch of clubs and also a

I was so annoyed with the costume department about Amy. She is still a thin person, put some pants on her that fit!

I always wonder what comes after the superhero fight, who has to clean up those bridges? So this actually sounds like an interesting premise to me.

Come to Oakland County, we have plenty.

I was excited for the series to be a little more whimsical and take this interesting side-story of Newt Scamander. Overall, I liked the movie even though it wasn't what I was hoping it would be. But it's a little weird that this series is really being set up to be the story of Dumbledore and Grindewald, not of Newt

Look, let's be honest, tons of women know nothing about babies. Shondaland was using a little "people who don't have babies don't know how to change diapers" shorthand.

They're guys? What does that have to do with anything?

I lost patience for Hunt's baby feels after that one lady DID want a baby and he dumped her because he didn't want to marry a stay at home mom. He basically wanted Cristina, but with babies, except (as that sliding doors episode demonstrated) THAT'S NOT A THING.

I'm a little confused why this is the narrative around Danny. Danny started out as a gross sexist, then is shown to be grumpy and have an inner life, but turns out to still be a gross sexist in the end. That doesn't seem like character assassination so much as the reality that a lot of women try to find the "good guy

The journalistic style is to usually say something like "Caitlyn Jenner, then known as Bruce, won the decathalon" and then refer to her as Caitlyn throughout the rest of the piece.

Any particular reason Rosamund Pike is referred to just by her first name?

So I guess my dream family movie where The Rock is a SAHD who makes elaborate lunches for his children and Vin Diesel is his stressed accountant husband isn't going to happen?

Watched almost the entire first season of Grace and Frankie. Really funny and poignant.

It was great in audiobook format. I actually didn't even notice that it was in present tense until someone pointed it out. The audio is also cool because it's a huge production with music and sound effects — almost more like a radio drama.

I found this list refreshing. Every other summer reading list is full of $25 hardbacks that aren't even going to be released until August.

Having watched this movie approximately 50 times on family road trips, I was shocked to find out in college that A)Nicholas Cage is actually crazy B)There are people who don't like this movie?!

She's great in Gilmore Girls! She's charming and good at her job and has a way better arc than most "fat friend of skinny main character" characters

I did the same! I would have never recognized Omundson, though, if I didn't know who he was.

It's fun if you (like me) spend a lot of time thinking about how life actually *works* in a sci fi/horror/fantasy world. Like, do the kids go to school? What are the Girl Scouts like in this world? Where do they grocery shop?

Fallout: New Vegas and Bioshock, because I'm new to gaming and also live in 2008.
