The motor is about $30-45k probably more, the chassis has to be somewhere north of $50k to be properly engineered to handle the suspension and power loads plus to protect the occupants in the event of a high speed roll. Then you have another $15k+ for the suspension. All in all $170k seems reasonable.
My bad, forgot that a hydrogen comes off a methyl to give the hydroxyl group room. I would’ve caught it if I just would have gone with my normal convention of writting the groups out. D’oh!
“Sure, that’ll get you pretty drunk,”
That would take all the rat rods and hot rods off the road. And you don’t see cops lining up to ticket and impound them at car shows...
The wide track and long travel suspension doesn’t make it illegal to drive. The actual bug it was built from was probably pre-73 so anything goes motor wise. really the most illegal thing they could get him for is noise violations for running open headers. Maybe the lack of fenders and/or mud flaps but that’s it. as…
Just plastidip the Aston in high vis Orange and lobby tire rack to sponsor your articles/videos for a set of snows and then test out the whole unlimited mile warranty. Or maintain the potential for sale and not drive the car in winter when jack holes are out and about trying to kill everyone.
So what they're saying is that they made a pedal that gives foot massages?
Right? I guess I can count myself lucky for seeing a few R32's aR33's and a couple of R34's on the road back in the MotorEX heyday.
bugs with huge motors and lots of travel are easy to be legal as anything pre 73 doesn’t need a smog. Look at how all the t-bucket roadsters are legal and pretty much any other hot rod. the long travel trucks and wide track pre-runners are a little harder to get by with as they need smogs, but in some ways the land of…
I like it when people print out an ad for a different car to show you what they could get. At that time I just tell them no and that they should get the other car.
They double Czech them?
Maybe it took a dip in the gulf…
That truck is designed to handle 1,000 miles of shit like whats in this video. Baja Trophy trucks are some of the toughest engineered vehicles out there.
I could watch trophy truck suspension travel all fucking day long...
A poorly maintained 91 Corolla with absolutely no brakes.
Back in the mid 90’s they proposed John Wayne to be an international airport. The new money dotcomers successfully rallied against it and now the last flights in and out of that airport are at 10. LAX is still the closest international airport, then there is Ontario.
John Wayne isn’t international because of those Newport Beach “new money millionaires” buying houses under the flight path. When Tustin and El Toro were both functioning I used to love going out to see what air craft were shaking the house.
I dunno, I used to drive around with my army surplus gas mask in my car at all times.
I had an old friend do something similar but it involved a new Aprilla, a full throttle clutch dump, and a Toyota dealership front line.
