So pretty much trailers are not safe in L.A. . . . How many huge trailers with race cars and merchandise have been stolen in L.A.?

Oh, yeah of course first action should be calling the police to let them know what is going to happen. More often than not you will probably get their blessing if there isn't an officer in your vicinity to do the deed.
I think smashing the window is a more effective way of getting the point across. I won't hesitate to smash a window of a parked car with a dog in it during the day, especially if it is over 75 degrees Fahrenheit out. People like that need to be taught a lesson that includes broken windows.
Nowadays, just finding an open road is a chore. For most of us, "driving" involves snail-paced commutes and clogged Costco parking lots.
I'm much happier with this than Motorweek Theatre. Best Motoring is such a great publication. Plus Tsuchiya is always pretty funny to watch. Then there is the Touge Monster!!!!!!!!!
No, that isn't the punishment, it purely states that if he were following the law he would not have been there and would not have been paralyzed. Which also goes to negate any legal followings he could have since he never should have been on the road in the first place. Look at it like this, lets say you had a beer or…
Ich habe keine idea. . .
It really is a shame they killed the EV-1 as all the people who had them loved them it seems. I remember seeing one EV-1 with New Mexico plates in by my house in Southern California, it looked like the guy was living out of his EV-1 but that was around 2003, I never really gave much though about that until now, maybe…
The EV-1's were taken back by GM and destroyed. There might be some that have survived but they are not on the road anymore because of some deal that GM had. I used to see them fairly regularly before they got repo'd. Watch Who Killed the Electric Car.
but the 4.2 sounds so mean. I don't think he's going about it in the cleanest way, but it will still be neat. He is also the one who put a civic body on a wrx chassis.
There is a guy putting a V8 from a Maseratti Quatroporte in a Miata. There is a thread on Miata.net about it. When he's done though, the only thing miata that will be left is the body. . .
We had a few of these come with Ford steering wheels from the factory. It was pretty funny. The leather was also pretty damn soft in these. Not that I would have considered one, but yes they were gussied up F-150's but they had a nicer interior than the King Ranch's.
No, the only thing that it could harm would be varnishing the tank. But pretty much what this article is stating, the vapor pressure of the winter fuel is increased. In essence the volatility of winter fuel is higher than summer fuel. Don't confuse volatility with reactivity, it just means it will evaporate quicker.…
Hoon Of the Day is relegated to .GIF's now? For shame. . .
Yup I can attest to this. My Pops has one of these and it is horrible in the Pacifica. It is somewhat mitigated if you crack the front windows a bit with the rear ones open. The Pacifica is not a windows open friendly vehicle. . .
This has been for sale for a while now. . . It probably has issues and can't be registered in CA so I would say CP if you are in CA. I guess motor swaps are cool and all, but I'd rather just spend the same amount and get a nice example of a 996 instead of someone elses project.
I'd be O.K. with a 3 door hatch, but not a 4 door. It just doesn't make sense to turn the GT-86 into a sedan. a 3 door hatch would be nice and help in the practicality department by increasing rear head room and cargo practicality. I just don't see a 4 door variant of the Toyobaru twins coming to market. Like the…
Probably, I am not sure how it would feel. I have yet to drive a de-powered NA/NB but I could see it being livable as long as low speed maneuvers are kept to a minimum. I actually still haven't driven a NC so I really have no idea how they feel compared to the older ones. I am quite fond of my NB though.
TDR out of Florida has built a 400 hp MZR for the NC. I can't remember exact figures but it is ridiculous. As far as I know no one has put the MS3 motor into an NC.
I always liked the NB more so than the NA or NC. I ended up getting a 99. With respect to the Mazdaspeed one, you would be better off finding a well sorted 5 speed turbo or supercharged NB to drive. The MSM is nice but the gearing is too short and I found it a tad bit annoying when I got to drive one back in '04.…
