@Shiverr!: I agree, I don't think cinematography was effective. However, they weren't good actors. Their deliveries were off, and it's hard to act well when the writing is bad.

As I said when I posted this in #whitenoise early this morning, this would have been good if the writing and acting (in that order) weren't so bad.
