That’s just crazy talk!

That sounds promising. Perhaps you should offer to run a training course.

It’s either traffic forever or tunnels.

If folks have not realized that Lyles Lanley actuall exists... well..

WASHINGTON, DC–A study released Monday by the American Public Transportation Association reveals that 98 percent of Americans support the use of mass transit by others.

It’s almost like putting the road underground doesn’t make it immune from the regular constraints of traffic like what happens when there’s too much demand?

Okay, dude. That says less about how great the tunnel is and more about the overall convention experience.

Maybe the solution is to have bigger vehicles that can carry more people in one go through the tunnel. If it’s really high volume, maybe link the larger vehicles together in a chain so that they all travel at once all at the same speed.

Now playing

Everyone saw this coming. In fact, one of my favorite dry YouTube narrative makers, DoNotEat01 did a 40 minute min-doc in 2019 explaining exactly why The Loop would fail.

Yes, the majority of big tech’s “innovations” are old ideas done worse.

Great gimmick, But did anyone really think taking a mass transit concept and converting it to vehicle traffic was really a solution to congestion issues? It just moves it underground. But I doubt that was it’s intention anyway. More marketing and the whims of a person that has a company and it’s investors money at

If only we had the technology to transport larger groups of people, perhaps in linked carriers, from one stop to the next in a loop. Maybe we could use some sort of guiderail to ensure that it goes where it is supposed to. But I guess that technology is well beyond us, so we will have to put cars into narrow tunnels

The Loop – which runs underground from an area near the Convention Center’s West Hall to the South Hall, involves bringing people into Teslas at “stations.” They are then driven by a human – sorry folks, no self driving in the tunnel – through it to a drop-off point.

Waiting for Teslastans to say. “The Tesla is so smart it knows that’s a fake child. That is why it didn’t stop!”

“the south will rise again!" *Drives around barrier at RR crossing, gets hit, dies*.

Weird that you’re scolding others for “not understanding money” and then go on to imply stock shares aren’t a liquid asset.

Tesla doesn’t own a Silicon Fab house, so both premises don’t hold up to scrutiny.

First: from a QA perspective? “Re-writing mainline software on the fly” to code your way around chip issues? Is a terrible strategy that wouldn’t fly in a real company.

The amount of gear you can fit in a touring bus is huge. Loading all that stuff on an airplane.. no. Plus no touring musician should ever get in a small plane, helicopter or on a commercial flight. Just give up flying.

I’ve got family in the music business, and tour buses are a game-changer for when you’re doing a city-to-city lifestyle, especially if you’re able to hire a full-time driver/maintainer.
