You defend Jill Stein for not using blanket statements and then turn around and use one yourself. Bravo.

What did it for me: Community theater. Even if you don’t want to act, there’s always a need for directors, stage managers, costume designers, set builders, light and sound operators, and more. It’s a great way to meet folks with big personalities.
