As they've moved into doing their own things, I'd say Merchant's work is a lot closer to the tone and humor of those shows. That was Rawstory's excerpts. The tone of the CBS story was different than Rawstory's. They also called it a miscarriage in the first paragraph when the police were trying to determine that.

You can't. They had to treat it as a birth/abandonment until that was ruled out. Once they found out it was a miscarriage, they dropped the police investigation. The part about praying was that he was praying the mother was safe. Lindy just didn't bother watching the video on rawstory.

I agree with all of your points, but those are cop outs. There isn't a zero sum game when it comes to empathy. Nobody suggested that men have it as bad as women.
