I thought your point was that the liberals don't then complain that the government is too big and overregulating them?

I'm not sure how Adele can run after that vampire sucks out all of her bloody talent and cashes in.

Maybe, but the education splits in voting remain the same. The Dems get those without a college degree and those with an advanced degree. The GOP gets the majority of people with bachelor's degrees.

That's not a true comparison. Conservatives will get a tax decrease that hurts them via income inequality, then complain that taxes are too high. Wealthy liberals will get a tax increase that hurts them because it reduces income inequality, then complain that taxes on the rich are too low. An example of the latter is

Or maybe we're not giving them enough credit. By the logic you're using, limousine liberals that vote to increase their own taxes are just as stupid. But we realize they consider more than their own views. Maybe conservatives who vote against their interests are the same.

Erin is streets ahead of Phoenix (though I agree that this article wasn't well thought out).

Well, Philly has always been known to love Cheese Whiz...

It's great to see all of those people who started podcasting get shows. Nerdist and Earwolf put a lot of time and money into something that wasn't profitable, and it's good to see them get traction in the mainstream networks.

Apatow didn't come in like the end-all, be-all champion of women. He called out one guy for asking one question he found to be sexist.

Yeah, that case is a little different. I'm not sure why people are using it.

Well put!

How dare you suggest you know anything about her humanity because of a throwaway pun? I'm OUTRAGED! If you have no respect for the pun, it makes me think you hate all laughter and would prefer children to cry. For shame! I'm livid, offended, outraged, and now I question whether North America can ever get back to where

If they have to have larger seats, they'll have to reduce the total number of seats in each plane and raise prices to accommodate the difference. That will lower demand, causing the need for even higher prices.

It's definitely tough to make her argument when she's combining one thing (critics need for "importance" to value work) with another (the real issue of sexism in the publishing world).

Yeah, I suppose that's how things go. It's like when you see an old TV show or something and go "oh yeah, we're better about ____ than in the past." The assholes are always the loudest.

Am I crazy, or are tech guys getting worse instead of better? It seems like it's non-stop.

Yeah, she's got those legs.

No kidding.

Thanks for clarifying. That makes sense. I always wonder on blogs like this whether the author is unaware of that or just playing along.

She's hilarious when she's pretending to be mad, but I'm also down if she was just mad. Once she has Oprah speaking for her, I hope she'll think about speaking for me.
