Yep. Somehow a book about where all of the wannabe authors live, and where the young people in the publishing headquarters of the country live, is being called a trend again. And if you can believe it, the story centers on upper middle class white girls!
It would be hilarious if the courts ruled the law has to also ban Confederate flags if they want to ban Pride flags (which makes sense...you can't just ban some non-government flags and not others?)
Exactly. I like the Decemberists, but I was already about to look up the original before I saw your comment. Thank you.
Yes!...that's a much better way of putting what I was trying to say.
I think there's only one true milestone anyway:
I agree. This happens so much in other media as well. Films, songs, comedy, etc. I'm not sure if that's something that has always happened, or if it's something we've started doing in the past 30-40 years, but it gets annoying.
Bing, bing, bing. Here's how something like this works:
I meant it shows you're not old in a good way. Olds like myself have no zest!
That figure is due to the number of college students who are independent (not listed as a dependent on their parent's taxes). The primary reason to go independent is that you can qualify for grants and other benefits that you can't get if your parents make too much income (which isn't a very high threshold,…
Yes, the non-stop ridicule of McCain for being old seems to have been forgotten. But it wasn't just jokes...it was considered legit because his VP candidate was so terrible (one old man's heartbeat away from the Presidency), in addition to the non-stop barrage of jokes about how old he was.

There's nothing more annoying that guys who can't lose to a woman or women in sports. The whole point of sports is that there's a completely objective score that doesn't take any other considerations into account. There's no such thing as playing good "for a girl"!
This shows that you're not old yet. Once you get old, the first reaction is invariably "not worth it", whether it's the hangover itself or the prevention the night before.
It's that she's found a niche as the earthy, over-the-top character. Lots of guys have been in that niche and were dressed down as well. Other characters she's played have been different, such as her run as Sookie on The Gilmore Girls, where she was dressed better and wore makeup.
I didn't think that was Lindy's point at all. I thought she used the shorter men example to show how she'd believed the social structures that oppress short men.
It's also not a big spread. There is probably 1500 or so boys in the study. The amount that have more than one sister but no brothers is probably a fraction of that, and the result was only a difference of 9%. Once you factor in how many families with three or more kids are religious conservatives, it's not a huge…
And the new slogan- "Virginia is for unimaginative lovers"
Nothing.
Awesome.
