We're not talking about all women on average. We're talking about a subset that tends to be more risk taking than the public. It's the same stereotyping as someone saying women are less physically strong than men on average, therefore firefighters are weaker when women are allowed.

Here's the weird thing...I think the guy actually believes the bullshit he's peddling!

Pffftt...I'm a paragon of masculinity and am wearing mango-scented lotion as we speak. Cuz I love smellin' pretty, got-dammit.

It doesn't read as dumb at all. We don't know what they were told...if it was sold as a comedy or satire, it's entirely possible that dressing up as Hitler or in blackface would fit the film's villains. They could've felt it was mocking racists rather than playing them straight.

I know...it's shocking how every media outlet manages to talk about someone right when he or she has a new tour, movie, book, etc.

Not to mention it's Unconstitutional. Roe v Wade makes abortion before viability legal, and despite how they try to fudge that number, no baby has lived before 27 weeks.

Well you can rest easy. Contrary to what the article is trying to say, men and women work the same amount of hours a day.

I think it's part and parcel of the term. Political correctness isn't a real thing. It's a pejorative against any attempt at social monitoring. To be fair, I've heard it used about WASPs and the Christian right quite a bit as well. But I don't think it can ever be used correctly, because it's not real.

Sorry, but I don't believe anyone who says they haven't seen a penis in a locker room. Once someone is 10 feet away or more, you'll see their whole body. Unless you keep your eyes closed, a penis is bound to cross your eye line.

Whenever someone brags to me about not owning a TV, I tell them to shut up and make my coffee.

No

Hey, I'll be the asshole to take the subject seriously. I'll likely stay grey and unread anyway...

Yeah, that was a great video. Great job, Lindy!

She's also just flat out wrong. Women support legislation for equal pay at about a 70% rate. Men support it above 50% as well. Only about 30% of the country thinks that the pay is right and the government should do nothing more (numbers vary slightly depending on the poll).

The same link Doug provided also shows how many feel satisfaction, shame, guilt, and silliness.

That cat writes a lot like Lindy.

We KNOW YOU LOVE CAPS LINDY!!!!!!!!

Dirty comment ahead..........

No kidding. Forced fatherhood would be if the man was forced to raise the kid. Paying child support isn't forced fatherhood. It's financial support. It's sad the NYT author doesn't understand paying someone off isn't being a father.
