Growing up here in the U.S. it has always been commonly referred to as the Super Nintendo or S.N.E.S., not “Snes” or “Snez”. Recently I’ve watched some YouTube videos where I heard British People call it the Snez and I almost lost it, but then I remembered Austrailians pronounce Sega “See-Gah”.
I’m the opposite: anytime I hear “snez”, I want to punch them in the face. It’s an acronym, dang it, say it like one.
