I assumed James Franco sealed his fate with the academy after his ridiculous “hosting” attempt with Anne Hathaway. I will be surprised if he ever gets a nomination, regardless of whether he deserves one or not.

Better option is to throw a blanket or coat over the dog, something large enough that takes away their ability to see. Typically makes them stop what they’re doing. I’ve done it to my dog when she was attacking an opossum, worked within seconds.

Until recently, Montauk wasn’t considered part of “the Hamptons” by most locals. It was where you went to get away from the city folks. Most out of towners didn’t drive out to the end, so it was spared and saved. But now it’s been absorbed into the rest of the south fork, which is a shame.
