That’s a good point. I vaguely remember my grandmother telling me Lorna didn’t pursue the A+ career because she wanted to be with her family and raise her kids.

They were singing one of his songs when it happened. The lyrics were “I’ll have you naked by the end of this song” or something like that. It was obviously planned. And he left her out to dry and take all of the blame for it.
So delightful! It’s a shame most people will likely associate her with Grease 2 (don’t get me wrong, I unironically love that movie). She’s so talented.
I always felt Lorna should have had a bigger career. She’s a better singer than Liza (even Liza has admitted it).
Not that you need it, but as someone who lived through an extremely violent sexual assault that left physical and emotional scars, I give you full permission to call it whatever you want. While there may be varying degrees of what is involved in each incident for each victim, they are all “bad enough”.
Elizabeth Smart will always be a hero for the way she handled Nancy Grace.
I agree. It’s a newsworthy topic and shouldn’t be ignored, but links with a *graphic* warning would have been a better way of discussing the issue.
I always appreciated how quickly you folks would take care of stuff like this. It was a mistake to take that feature away from the site and the comments.
I sent an email to Hannah with links to the posts about half an hour ago. Hopefully she’ll be able to remove the comments soon.
Totally makes sense that you would reply directly to the comment.
I flagged it too, not sure it will do much. Links to the photos would have been better, give people the option to look at those images.
She probably wouldn’t. I never did. All of my friends who were assaulted as kids never told their parents. We were too afraid we would get in trouble for it, that it was somehow our fault.
I’m more impressed with the fact that she changed nail polish some point throughout the day.
I look forward to your updated color post every morning.
The Gretchen win over Mondo was a travesty.
Do you watch Flipping Out? Leah Black has been on a few episodes, and she’s as crazy as ever.
Its interesting how different people can react to the same thing.
I didn’t read the book, but I thought it was made pretty clear in the movie what happened when he was a child. But I have my own history of sexual violence, so I might be more sensitive to how it is portrayed in media and entertainment.
I would watch this. I know a few people who have retired to The Villages. They have some... interesting stories.
This clip cut short before the best part, the other coach laughing uncontrollably behind the mat.
