The politics on LI are weird. Zeldin got elected because people associated Tim Bishop with Obama. Before Bishop was elected to the House, people loved him when he served at the local town level.
I’m on LI too and I laugh at the same faded bumper stickers. And then I cast a wish that Lee Zeldin loses his re-election bid.
Just missing a gif of Heidi saying “It looks cheap, no?”
I understand where you’re coming from. But this guy has been lurking around here since Gawker shut down. He’s not going to scurry off.
If an approved commenter replies to him, it brings the original post out of the greys (I think).
Please don’t engage with this guy. Keep him in the greys where he belongs.
Wambach is really good friends with Leroux, she was actually in her bridal party last year. So her stance on this subject is even more baffling.
Yes, not for anyone who has a weak stomach.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about re-reading it. There were some many details that have become fuzzy over the years.
I read it in high school (I was a weird kid). You should read it.
I’m on LI too and people in my are are freaking out. It’s bored teenagers, but the parents are taking it all very seriously.
My area is talking about keeping kids home on Halloween too. Craziness!
This is happening in my area right now. A bunch of copycat social media accounts (IG, Twitter, SnapChat) have popped up since last Thursday and they’re listing which school districts they plan on visiting each day this week (starting tomorrow). All of the accounts seem like they’re controlled by teenagers, more…
Michael Buble.
Was that Mattingly who kissed the mound before he walked away? That moment was the one that made me cry.
Same. I think most New Yorkers, regardless of which political party they belong to, just accept the fact that Albany is corrupt and always will be.
I'm patiently waiting for her to show up.
It's like saying "Marc Jacbos" three times and waiting for her to show up, like Beetlejuice.
