She’s a GK for Columbia, but was suspended for this game. She had to sit in the stands to watch the game. Rapinoe and Holiday will have to do the same during the game against China on Friday.

I'm a fan of the courtesy flush for any pooping activities. Flush a second time to help get rid of anything lingering around in the bowl that might cause an odor.
Yeah, the turf is a whole other layer of nonsense. I think we’ll be seeing much more of Morgan with each game. And hopefully Ellis will use Wambach with a smarter strategy. I do think Wambach can still benefit the team, just not as a starter. I also think Wambach has to shake off the rust of not playing at the club…
During the 2012 Olympics Rapinoe and Heath generally started together and it was fantastic.
Well, she hasn't played with the team since April. Since Ellis keeps changing the line-up, Morgan can't rely on past chemistry with a starting squad she's used to. She needs time on the field to get back into the swing of things with some of these newer players. The last 10 minutes of this game was a low-risk…
I wonder if Ellis kept Wambach in the game longer than she should have because Morgan isn’t 100% fit just yet. Leroux and Press are both dynamic, but I could understand a coach feeling nervous about having two newbies up top, especially since they haven’t played that much together. I think if Morgan was available for…
Yeah, I don’t think Abby should be guaranteed a starting position. After the game against Korea one of the commentators (can’t remember whether it was Kate of Kristine Lilly) said a better strategy would be to have Abby sit on the bench, watch the game, and figure out the flow and analyze how both teams are playing.…
I do think that Wambach’s ego is playing a role in their dynamic. But I think at this point, the team’s opinion on her ego is more important than Ellis’. She’s the leader of the team for now, and if she can still convince the rest of the team she’s earned that role I think it will help foster the cohesion the team…
I agree that Wambach is past her prime, but I still think she can add value to the team. Her experience is her best asset at this point. Even if she sits on the bench for most of the game and is used as a super-sub, I still think it helps to have her as a resource and wealth of knowledge for the younger players. I…
I agree about the Ellis/Wambach chemistry. Although, I can’t decide if it seems worse than it really is because I keep comparing it to how well Abby worked with Pia. I think they had a special coach/player bond that isn’t easily replicated.
This is a great graphic!
Awesome. And double-awesome that you had this book as a teen.
This is awesome.
You know you can just scroll onto the next post that interests you, right? You don't have to read everything, you can skip the stuff you don't like.
Harry Crane should be dead last on this list. I cringe anytime he’s on screen.
This is my mother’s philosophy for life. I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard her say “If this is the worst thing that happens to me today, I’ll take it.” I find myself playing this over and over in my head, in her voice of course, when I get all worked up over something stupid. Another one of her gems is…
This has nothing to do with the post, but whenever I hear the word “tallywacker” I think of the movie Porky’s. That scene always makes me laugh, tears rolling down my cheeks and struggling to breath laugh.
As a woman, I would never expect a man to notice the color of my nail polish, lipstick, eye shadow etc. I agree with AdeleT, throwing out a "You look lovely" every once in awhile would be nice. Who doesn't like compliments?
I hate, hate, hate Peter King. Whenever I see News 12 doing an interview with him on his front lawn, I want to punch the TV.
Funny because it's true.
