I respect that you didn’t care for it, but your feelings seem to be the exception, not the rule. Personally I loved it and would recommend it to any Star Wars fan.

I remember reading that they’ve been trying to get him in the show in some capacity since probably the Eccleston days but it just never worked out. I guess the stars finally aligned.
I’ve played lots of MMOs over the years, and the stories are usually filler that ends up getting skipped. It was amazing to me how Shadowbringers somehow managed to tell one of the best stories in Final Fantasy history, and somehow managed to do it in an MMO.

I’m also a big From fan, played through all three Dark Souls + Bloodborne multiple times, got the platinum in DS1 and BB.
I keep seeing people tripping over themselves to proclaim The Mandalorian the best thing Star Wars has ever done and I just can not figure out why. I managed to get through 3 episodes before I completely lost interest.
They also heavily hyped the Pting and that ended up being Abzorbaloff level bad, so I’ll be cautiously optimistic about whatever this new thing ends up being.
Hi. Actual Star Wars fan since the special editions came out in theaters when I was 8 years old. The Last Jedi is my favorite Star Wars movie.
Is it only Two Towers and Return of the King? No Fellowship?
Man the Sword exclusive gym leaders sucked.
An episode of Stranger Things is about 45 minutes, so three episodes is still an hour and a half shorter than The Irishman. And for something as detail oriented as Scorsese seems to be implying, The Irishman requires nothing less than your full attention for that entire 3.5 hours. I can clean the house or cook or play…
Scorsese’s comments suggest that I will miss things and have an inferior experience by splitting the movie up. If that’s the case, then no thanks.
That’s what I’ve been saying. There’s a big difference between deciding to watch an episode of Stranger Things and getting hooked into 3, and having to mentally prepare myself to be required to sit in front of my TV for all 3.5 hours of The Irishman. It looks like a great movie, but who’s got the time?
The difference between sitting down for Stranger Things or whatever and ending up watching 3 episodes, and sitting down to watch all 3.5 hours of The Irishman is commitment. When I load up Stranger Things I only need to psych myself up for 1 episode, then if I’m feeling it and nothing else comes up I can watch more.…

Yeah how dare the author confuse you by accurately writing the name of the product.

I think you seriously misunderstood that first paragraph you quoted. It seemed to me that what you have written refers to earlier games in the series, because Gita ends that paragraph in the review with this:
Those are my #2 and #1 favorite seasons respectively. Capaldi’s second season is damn near perfect and Heaven Sent is my favorite single episode of any show ever.
As a massive, massive fan of Doctor Who I’m really glad to see the Moffat years get some love. People often dismiss it, but I think it’s the best era of the whole show, classic or modern, and Capaldi and Smith are my two favorite Doctors. So many outstanding episodes, so many heartbreaking moments. His arcs didn’t…
