There was a highly publicized story of Nike suing someone for modding their shoes and trying to profit off of it just a few months ago! Insane that this person thought that was a good counter argument.

Sadly, a lot of bad practices of games are being defended by fanboys/girls hiding behind “git gud”.

Yep. My response is “git the GAME gud then”. It’s one thing to have that be a part of the game design, but at that point your game MUST NOT BREAK and undo it.

I generally find that people that find any self worth is the successful completion of a difficult video game to be very unreasonable. 

That’s sadly just how console fanboys operate, no criticism, no bringing up real issues, just blind loyalty to a corporation and it’s product that could give a fuck less if you got hit by two trucks at the same time tomorrow.

Yeah I really don’t get those people. Not to mention that if you don’t need a save function and prefer the current state of the game, you’re free to ignore it! But apparently that’s not enough for some folks.

Going further back, Community was spot on with its finale.

By no means is it the general consensus. Large chunks of the fanbase love Seasons 5, 9, and 10, and you’ll find plenty of defenders of 6 and 8 too. At least we can all agree, no matter who you prefer, RTD or Moffat.....Series 7 sucked.

I’d one up that to their was a pretty rough decline in RTD’s later seasons at least in terms of baffling plot twists, retconning and over the top imagery (especially religious imagery).

Heavensward was good, Stormblood was... mixed. Shadowbringer stands with the best the entire series has had to offer, MMO or not.

They did this story so god damn well.

Elidibus is meh, but fighting THE GOD DAMN WOL WAS FANTASTIC.

Emet-selch is seriously one of the best antagonists in the FF series.
