Let’s talk about the trees growing in the stands...

you took your sweet time i was expecting the review 25 years ago now i don’t know where i’m gonna find that game

Portrait mode AND shooting the car instead of the fight. This dumbfuck has a real career ahead of him as a cameraman.

Would you like to know more about how the Ford Transit is beating up the competition?

That’s a really neat car that I spent half the video getting a clear shot of while The Dads yelled at each other

Is there a way to mine for that data? I don’t think it is on Baseball-Reference.com.... but I’m hoping there is some website that has searchable scorebooks...

Even by their own, admitted low, standards, MLS has certainly hit a new low.

You've decided to complain about the one thing they did well. You're the Fox of commentors.

You’re right. The “See the player swing and then have absolutely no idea where the ball went until they zoom in from the blimp on an area where you just have to trust them the ball is” method was much better.

Heck, none of the players noticed.

it’s less sexy?

Assuming each pitch is an out.

Or............. Lebron could just, oh I don’t know, not flop himself onto the ground every time someone breathes on him. The play in question where Lebron hit his head on the camera was an obvious flop and the NBA doesn’t have the cojones to call him out for it.

The solution is obvious. If LeBron’s dick wasn’t so small, the photographers would be able to see it without sitting so close.

I had the same impression. When I clicked this story I actually thought the topic would be how insane it is that every goddamn person is too preoccupied with thier phones to just take in the moment. I get how the “oh kids these days and their smartphones” is not an entirely original social critique in 2015, but jesus,

My rule? If I see three phones go up in the air, mine goes away. I’ll enjoy the moment and then, if I feel the urge to share it later, I’ll link to someone else’s Youtube video.

That and there will be numerous better photos/videos of the event than what your Galaxy S3 can capture from 100 feet. In portrait mode.

Drives me insane the number of people watching events through the screen of their phones anymore. There are professionals there to capture the images so you can relive it later, but you have to live it at all to find the enjoyment those frames offer. Put your damn phones away and watch what you came to see.

How ‘crotchety dad’ am I allowed to be over how many phones are in the shot?

This cover is fantastic, but it is also somewhat sad to me. Just enjoy the fucking moment.
