That was a GREAT article, I love when giz or your affiliates cover something like this. Every fiber of my being wants to see THIS guy make it happen. He'd win a noble prize if he got this working as everyone wants, right?

@talkingstove: Dear god man....you may be on to something here.

I'd rather see money (probably, but maybe not) being wasted here, than being wasted by drug reps taking docs to vegas and BS like that.

Lego is the toy that defined my childhood. Just yesterday I was in a lego store (I had never seen a LEGO STORE before! it was fantastic! just all legos!) and the impulse to buy something was just as strong as ever.

Loved the hate part, hated the love part...except "up-dating the bios on a soviet fax machine"...awesome.

@blash: Can't argue with you on every point, you have some, but 90% is a hugely inflated estimate. I can think of countless times I've needed to move more goods than a bike could in the past month. Not to mention what about places that are less temperate or farther away than an hours bike ride? There's more people

@Evan A Fleming: Well it depends on what phone you want to get. I'm sure you could pull some technicalities out but I've never had to pay specifically for a phone from verizon.

@Paradise: No but he's got really bad asthma.

@tedknaz: Never seen it happen.

@NuevoLeon: No it's that one thing where you're a member of some torrent site :P

@SharpnPointy: I'd be more worried about it being rugged enough. It really needs to be tough, equipment isn't always treated with the greatest care. And going hand in hand with that, they are going to be pricey!

I was going to ditch my cable TV, but then comcast (the provider in my area...evil bastards) offered one of their 6 months of reduced rate which made my bill cheaper than if I had gotten rid of the TV. Somehow I feel dooped, but I'm still dropping it as soon as this 6 months is up, I never watch it!

So this looks AWESOME. The question I have is....since boxee has xbmc at heart, or so I've been told...can it play too?

The two most effective fixes for a hangover are O2 and normal saline. People in olive drab flight suits have abused this knowledge for years. Maybe wearing a non-rebreathing mask with O2 @ 16lpm and an IV in your hand seems a little much, but it really is THE most effective cure (next to not drinking).

This....is actually a wonderful idea. Sometimes I'd rather go with low-tech, and for many reasons I'd go with this little smart faucet.

I just want hulu to give us MORE for $10, I hope they don't expect us to just start shelling out for exactly what we've been getting. As it seems though, that may be the plan, which is awesome! HD and access to an entire season instead of just a few shows sounds fantastic for $10.

DoD computers are terrible with this kind of crap. You have at least 20 different passwords (no joke) for the different systems, they all need to be changed annually, quarterly, or monthly, and they have insane criteria (15 characters long, must use upper/lower case, can't repeate letters, must use symbols, etc).

@Cutter631: So very justified, and I HATE that it would never hold up in court. A flawed system indeed.
