I don't miss cranks but I'm with you on passive ventilation.

What does the “break even” point matter anymore? It’s faster and gets better mileage than a regular Civic, and is probably faster, and gets better combined mileage than a Camry. If you want the absolute cheapest hybrid, the Corolla hybrid is the best normie car. But most people want things because they like them for

1) I like the new wheel selections.
2) I didn’t know Pixels had some kind of a stigma?
3) “As subcompact sedans go, ...” My 83 Civic was a subcompact. This is not.
4) Seems like a great car.

As they say, being poor in America is expensive.

I live in NoVa and without saying too much I had zero influence but some tangential professional familiarity with the arena proposal. When it was announced I was like, “yeah. this ain’t happening.” Terrible fit. I did call the Amazon HQ2 pick though. Re: Ralph, I’ll take quiet competence and willingness to listen any

He’s a lame duck (all VA governors sorta are, but especially near the end of their term). He’s just trying to throw out whatever to “see if it sticks” and get some airtime minutes on Fox. Maybe he’s angling for a future Cabinet appointment. I kind of miss Ralph Northam. Yeah there was that incident, but he was a very

Norway gets it. So many times, people use the words “Scandinavia” and “socialism” in the same sentence. But in reality they know how to leverage capitalism to get the most return for the most people. Also, that $1.7 trillion sovereign wealth fund is just one fund. There are others.

1) Blue Bird and workers ratified a union contract last month. Kind of rare and notable in a southern state.
2) was a bit of a bus nerd in youth. Blue Bird buses always had that bird logo with a black stripe following the length of the roof. A nice little bit of “flair” on an otherwise utilitarian vehicle. The green

I actually like that G3! I’ve seen a couple of them, and I see the end-of-the-line Aveo hatchback every once in awhile for sale with low miles and think, could they be that bad? A simple hatchback weekend chore runner would be handy for me. I had a sedan as an Enterprise rental once, drove it 5 hours round trip and it

Back in the late 80s I bought my favorite car ever, 83 Civic with 100k miles on it. At the time this seemed crazy, but with regular care and maintenance I drove it till about 1995 and 205k miles. I should have kept it, fixed the little bit of rust that was developing and replaced the valve seals. Key is maintenance

My 14 year old car has two attributes I appreciate most in a personal vehicle. It's 1) reliable, or predictable at least, 2) paid for.

That thing looks dull and worn already.

I think it’s attractive, and they typical buyer isn’t going to car whether it’s fast or now.

The Crown Comfort was but one of many cars called Crown. I love its square utilitarianism though.

I like these, but not this one. The color is blah, and even if they’re correct, those wheels would need to be replaced. They look like they’re off a Ford Escort ZX2.

I see a lot of listings based in PA and they usually have asking prices I’d call optimistic.

My faves in relative order of rarity or obsurity.

There were a few stretch limo versions of these made.
This price is probably not too crazy. These cars were so over the top and the last gasp of an era. I love them but I don’t think I could drive one daily.

“Just like that, we’re homeless,”
I’d argue they were already homeless.

Drunken delinquents should have all be deported to Australia.
