I’m old too, and I remember the ads for the 1st Gen Prelude using the term “moonroof.” I had a (dreadful) 83 Escort with a piece of glass that hinged in the front, popped up in the rear, had no sunshade, and was completely removable. That was a sunroof.

I was in Norway last year and they have plenty of EV models to choose from.

Maybe Nissan can buy him out?

I have an old (2010) pre-DCT Focus. I was actually surprised a couple years ago when my A/C condenser was damaged by road debris. A transmission cooler was part of the same assembly.

You know they’ll just get another Subaru.

Like 10 years ago did this in Indian market car (Ikon?). It had a compartment on the top center of the dash. But the lid also had a ratchet or clamp mechanism and you pushed it down to hold a smartphone. I think Dacias had something similar.

Meh. Baltimore did it better. Divine ate dogsh*t on set for “Pink Flamingos.”

I will keep my thoughts quiet about Old Bay and the state flag.

Came here to say exactly this. His brain was not yet infected by hubris and money.

And by then you’d have a $45k car not a car that’s currently considered rather affordable.

Twas ever thus.

I’d say NASAs days are probably numbered. But like most fed agencies, they probably have few employees left anyway. Most feds I know are “contract specialists” and any real research or data analysis is done by the big government contracting firms. To EM, he’s just eliminating the middle-man. Everyone was warned about

We have this thing called Metro. It’s not bad, and actually its been working pretty good after a long period of difficulties. Also, this is a car blog, and people outside cities have a hard time understanding it, but not everyone owns a car or wants to.

It still looks better than any Subaru I can think of. I actually like the Envista, a lot, just not the engine. Its a hatchback, not a SUV. People need to get over it. Put in a 4-cyl, slightly more potent but nothing crazy, some visual tweaks and retro graphic touches inside and out, and make a GNX trim package. Sales.

Somebody (here?) said it: Nissan used to be a 7, now they're a 4, but they think they're a 9. They need to just die a natural death and maybe Honda can pick up a few plants for cheap.

Hey hon ;-). I grew up in southern DE, so Baltimore was just a little more in my sphere than Philly. Baltimore has her rough edges, but people aren’t straight up mean to you and looking to pick a fight. I was at a restaurant there and 2 waitresses had a full-on fist fight. Sheesh.

Wait I thought stainless steel wasn’t supposed to rust?

I disagree a little on the Neon, engine part at least. In it’s time it was actually reasonably potent. I had a Stratus with that engine and a 5-spd, and the car mags at the time found that combo faster (in the heavier Stratus) than the V-6 with the automatic.

I’m a pro-city person, but Philadelphia is sort of disgusting, and mostly due to the people. At least Baltimore has a few quirky and fun things (and characters) and their grit comes with more sympathy from me. If Philly completely burned down I wouldn’t shed a tear. (p.s. I care nothing about sports, so this is not at

I actually have respect for the interior redesign they did to this in the facelift from the Sebring. Must have had some old-timers from AMC still on staff.
