Hopefully it sounds like more competition is coming for sensible trucks.
Surprise surprise. For the past few years, automakers prioritized production of large, expensive, profitable vehicles. “Supply chain” and all that. Us regular Joes and Janes put off car purchases rather than be ray-pd in the marketplace to buy a vehicle we don’t want or need. Rich people still bought expensive cars,…
Ok I’m very bad at economics, but wouldn’t it make better sense to, rather than cutting prices, adjust production to be more in line with demand?
I know the area, and there is a Subaru dealer in Salisbury. Just get a Forester or an Outback, and you’ll find enough local shops to service it or get some upgrades. Salisbury is slightly remote, so I would not get anything remotely exotic.

If you asked me 10 years ago, I would have thought that most normie cars would be mostly hybrid by now. The next Camry is that direction I guess, but I’d say the pandemic put things a few years behind schedule.
Article in a “mainstream media” publication today about a barrage of red states that are preemptively banning “lab grown meat” despite the fact that it’s not yet available or commercially viable.
I've lived with neighbors from all over the world, and with born-heres of similar or greater economic and educational status. Immigrants, all-day any day. Too bad the latter group aren't deportable.
I had a regular 91 Civic LX hatch with Tahitian Green. It was the only car I bothered to spend money on vanity tags for because Virginia’s “mountains to sea” design coordinated perfectly. I’d like my next car to be blue, so glad to see blues on this list. Glad to see one purply color made the list. In the ‘10's Buick…
I don’t like any of these choices, some of which have a high risk in terms of pricey out of warranty issues. Why not Mazda3 as shown in the photo?
Persons can be “nationals of other countries” and work legally. A “legal” immigrant could have a visa, therefore if a person is a legal immigrant and a national of another country, it would be incorrect to identify them as Americans. As is often the case, people see surnames of the victims, nationalities, then make…
I give them a solid A- for effort. It’s nice to see lower cost vehicles getting some attention.
At this point I just wish all “sedans” were made into proper hatch- or “lift” backs. Just make that whole rear horizontal plane open up so we don’t have to guide cargo into a wide, narrow, deep slit.
The (better) alternative is to opt for the soothing interior comforts and exterior bling of a Grand Marquis or Town Car.
Regionally, this phenomenon is known as “Maryland driver.”
That was NYC champ.
That must be a creepy view now. I know its not the same but on 9/11 I worked in Arlington and had an office view looking over Ft. Myer and the cemetery towards the Pentagon. Saw the cloud rising just a few moments after impact. Couldn’t see that view again without that memory.
I’m sure grocery suppliers are already on it.
Back in the 90's I had a 91 Civic and for some reason it ran best on mid-grade. I don’t think I’ve used it in anything since.
