I love it when mother nature fights back.

I prefer Skoda styling and wish we had access to that brand, but I realize I’m a minority. This styling will probably play better in the US. Looks like Crosstrek to me.
Fords can be weird. I routinely scan FB listings and it’s not unusual to see different models with 300k+ on them and still cosmetically good. Last week there was a 401k mile Focus by me. Sometimes they’re a nightmare, sometimes they’re better than a Toyota.
Maybe Dave Ramsey isn't wrong.
I like that generation Elantra. The dash layout and everything is very straightforward and the screen is nicely integrated. The Corolla Hybrid is probably the best normie car bang for the buck, if you can find one around MSRP and not marked-up.

It's seems I see wigs everywhere I look these days.
Someday there will be an analysis of the impact of Trump administration tariffs contribution to recent inflationary trends.
Everyone hates them, but a base model Versa with a stick is surprisingly nice to those of us olds who remember what a true “econobox” was actually like.
Base model Subarus are surprisingly affordable if you can find them.
I could never speak in front politicians like that without losing my cool and calling them out as dumbassis. Like that incident a few weeks ago when Tom Cotton (R- West Azzkrak) kept pestering the tech guy about alleged connections to the Chinese government. I’d almost be like, ok a-hole, I’m good at math and from…
I made the same mistake! Later generations were based on the 323/Protege platform, and the last generation was very similar to the 00 Protege ES sedan and 02 Protege5 wagon I had.
It’s a car Jalops love to hate, but the packaging and space efficiency of these is excellent. It’s a useful as a pickup truck with a cap. The geography and the rust would concern me though. Cautious NP.
I refuse to click this link since it would further encourage additional idiocy. One minor fall or slip seems like an easy amputation or decapitation.
These usually have hideous colors and wheels. I’ve seen one near me that had painted graphite wheels and some selective de-chroming, and it looked darn nice.
Always thought this song was way better than their “hits.”
I have farmers in the family and sometimes their mindset baffles me. Completely resistant to change, and very dependent on fuel, chemicals, cheap labor, commodity crops, and tax breaks. I have also lived around Amish communities before, and they can sometimes be surprisingly clever and tech-forward. Solar, wind, etc.,…
The Great Society Subway: A History of the Washington Metro (Z. Schrag) published 2006. Nutshell: yes, it was briefly considered, and some in Gtown protested, but it was difficult engineering wise b/c of the tunneling, surrounding rock, topo, etc. Plus G-town wasn’t really a happening place, with no high density of…
I’ve lived in the area for, yikes, 30 years now. For about 15 of those, this same story is repeated in the Washington Post about somebody(s) in Georgetown who account for the vast majority of DCA noise complaints.
That's an urban legend long ago debunked.
