My Canadian grandma is the only person I know who used it. She was super racist even though she denied she was.

LOL , I know exactly who you are talking about.

You can just frame it in a larger financial discussion. For example , if we want to buy a house we need to have at least $xx for a down payment and go from there. I am a super planner and spreadsheet nerd so before we were married but saving for a down payment I sat down with my husband and said " we need at least 30K

Take some time and learn about investments or find a financial planner. I just had a discussion with my mom last night about why she shouldn't just have her money sitting in a MM and CD's.

Mine too the second her dish is less than half full she is all up in my face to refill it ASAP.

I had a friend who went there who experienced similar things . Especially in the lab she was doing her research in.

Why would you have your toothbrush in the shower to begin with ? Do people brush their teeth in the shower.

We do the same thing, my husband always laughs because I start taking off my pants as I walk up the stairs to get into my PJ's faster.

My parents didn't do Santa , the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy. My brother and I were the assholes who told everyone they were fake. In our case it's because my parents are super fundamentalist christians and think believing in Santa is the same as Satan worship. Our church encouraged us to tell other kids they were

We have cookies , candy and other snacks all over my office right now. It seems like we get something new from a vendor everyday and they have grossly overestimated the amount of people who work here.

It's hard to immigrate to pretty much any country and most are punitive to people who don't follow the rules exactly. I roll my eyes every time I hear someone say they are going to move to Canada.

That seems odd to me since most of the people I know, except for those work in retail , get Thanksgiving and the day after off. I have at every job I've had since I worked in retail in high school and college.

Hasn't she been DJing for a long time. How doe she count as a newcomer?

Exactly, celexa killed my sex drive. My husband talked to me about it, not whined not with a chart or whatever, and said it seems like you never want to have sex anymore is something wrong. After discussion with him and then my doctor I changed drugs and wanted to have sex again. Problem solved with no cheating or

Well I can't speak for all men but my husband doesn't because he is in a loving committed relationship with me where we have agreed we're not going to fuck other people. He's a grown up and understands we can't always have what we want when we want it.

If I stopped having sex with my husband he would talk to me about it to find out what was going on and why I didn't want to have sex. We have gone through dry spells in our 15 year relationship and neither of us has cheated or left because of it.

I have no idea why people are so opposed to this it just makes sense.

I did hear this morning that the percentage of Muslims in MoCo is 1.5%. I have no idea how that translates to number of students and absences. I read somewhere today, I forget where so it may be BS , that the Jewish holidays were given due to the amount of teacher absences and not being able to get enough substitutes

I grew up in NJ, we only had one winter break that was generally Christmas Eve to January 2nd. We did get Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur off as well as an other long weekend around the same time for the NJEA teacher conference. So that probably comes out to the same amount of days.

Where I went to school we got Jewish holidays off which was extra awesome since I didn't have any of the religious/family obligations my Jewish friends did.
