I've had job where I worked 60 hours the first and last weeks of the month but only had 15 to 20 hours of work the middle two weeks. I was still expected to me sitting at my desk for 40 hours those middle two weeks even though most of my shit was done at 10 30 .

I worked at a children's place outlet and most of our stuff did come from the regular stores. I remember once we had a crap ton of mustard yellow turtle necks that hung around forever. That was 15 years ago so I'm not surprised it's changed.

I know I went to college shortly after turning 18 but my parents were still supporting me. Hell my Dad didn't make me start paying for my own cell phone bill and car insurance until I had graduated and been at my first "real" job six months.
