I feel the same way. I don't really believe in any of that stuff but I am a textbook Taurus.

I was the same way, I very much enjoy taking tests. In college since I was prepared for most of them it didn't phase me at all.

I have had that job , so far they were the worst years of my life. I spent a lot of time in bed in the morning figuring out if it had been long enough since my last sick day that I could get away with taking an other one.

Your advisor is an asshole. And I would remember just because someone says they have a 4.0 doesn't mean they actually have one. I never checked my friends report card in school so they could have told me what ever they wanted.

Isn't law school only three years ?

I had a friend who was a horrible test taker, we had the same major and ended up in a lot of classes together. She would study with me all the time and did know the information but would always do horribly on the tests. I can only remember her missing one test we had and that was for a true emergency but I can see why

I posted below but I was actually hit by a car before finals my sophomore year in college . I got out of one final - chem lab basically because she didn't want to have to set up everything again just for me. All the rest were a pain in my ass and it would have been a lot easier to have been able to take them when I

We use Lync for IM I don't think anyone here has attempted any of the other stuff it supposedly does and we implemented it back in October.

I was hit by a car three weeks before the end of the fall semester of my sophomore year in college. I got out of my chem lab final and just got a grade based on the lab work I'd done so far but I got incompletes in everything else. Taking my calculus final months after I'd actually been in calculus was not fun. I

But in the example above with the you tube video she didn't say "things all men say " she just said "things men say" and someone felt the need to point out "not all men" say those things.

I don't know how sales tax works in the EU but It's understood in the US prices are "plus tax" and it is generally noted somewhere. I grew up in central NJ within an hour and a half's drive there were about 6 different sales tax rates. NJ, NYC,NY,PA, DE and economic development areas. The rates varied from 0 to

Barnyard makes me think of manure which is not something I like tasting in my beverages. Does it actually mean something else? Because in my experience barnyard = poop.

My husband still talks about the sales guy at Coach that helped him find a birthday present for me like 8 years ago. The guy did go above and beyond calling several stores in the area to see if they had the item and then having it shipped to our house.

That was my plan but my husbands name is much worse and longer than mine. Mine has at least been Americanized his was but only by removing one of the h's. People really want it to be another similar German name and start pronouncing that way but half way through notice there are way too many letters.

It think the "ua" spelling is much fancier and better.

There is an ongoing argument among my cousins about the pronunciation of their last name. It's so funny so see people from the same family pronounce it differently and get so offended about the difference. It's not my last name so I try to stay out of it.

My last name is Ukrainian but it has been Americanized several times over the last 100 years. People still get a deer in the headlight look when they see it.

My Mom is hard of hearing she speaks extremely well for someone who didn't start learning to talk until she was six. She was taught how to speak in a way where basically a letter or group of letters equals a shape/movement with her mouth and tongue. So in her head "m" doesn't equal "mmm" it equals lips together and

At my last jobs one of our customer contacts was named Siobhan. I was the only one in our office that called her Shi-Vahn not Sigh-Oh-Bon

My point wasn't about the alarms I was just pointing out we had no internal security force. I do think the local PD is better than campus police not that either is great. It's just that campus police is more beholden to the institution than the local PD. I know enough cops to not trust them at all.
