I do, too. I learn quite a bit from reading the articles and responses. But some of what is published by the editors and some of what is contributed by the people posting is simply racist. And The Root makes itself a safe space for that kind of racism.

Personally, I dislike their sandwiches, because the bun is made of a cotton-shaving cream substrate. No flavor, spongy — the Wonder Bread of buns.

I tried Turkey Hill Chocolate-Chocolate chip, after being impressed by the ingredients list. I don’t know how they managed to make cream, chocolate,etc. taste like the dry, cheap, artificial stuff, but they did.

I have no problem with Classic Rock’s diversity problem. Classic rock is a genre of music that happened at a time when there wasn’t a lot of racial intermixing, and it was a style that directly appealed to White musicians and not a lot of Black musicians.
