*does math on age difference between Kate Mulgrew and Peter Falk* ummmm.....

of all the starfleet captains, they had to go with the one with the faux-Katherine Hepburn voice? Was Avery Brooks busy?

dunno... that tux in Casino Royale is lovely.

thats fair - as a sample of the series, it was a really good read. But go on, give us your favourites! Top 3 at least...

true but he cleans up good too.

I shouldn’t whine so much - i actually loved this article. The clothes are one of the secret pleasure of the Bond movies. That pale blue shirt Daniels wearing in the car in the trailer for No Time to Die, with the tan jacket, is dreamy.

no mention of that stunning tweed suit in Goldfinger? Thats one of the most beautiful suits ever. It helps if you look like Sean, but still, it’s perfect.

*my girlfriend has joined the chatroom*

so say we all

reading this made me realise that the superhero that Hugh should have played is Superman. It’s obvious he could do the sincere hero bit, but more importantly, he’d be a great Clark Kent.

well, i want to like it, but that trailer was remarkably unfunny. Really, that was the best they could do?

the “making of” doc on the DVD is really good. When you see the rig - its a left-hand drive, with the stunt driver just out of shot - you realise that DeNiro looks stressed because he really is moving that fast, and they really are that close to the edge of the street.

rate the movies all you want, theres no question that Skyfall had the best trailer. Actually, it had one of the greatest trailers ever.

lack of nose surprisngly didn’t bother me. Even Dinklige sounds good (he’s lost that daft accent he did in Game of Thrones) but Roxanne seems off. Too breathy perhaps? Anne Brochet is still the gold standard.

great shout. Uma is a goddess but damn, Janeane looked gorgeous in that movie.

DeNiro looking terrified as the stunt-driver beside him roars that BMW down a medieval French street, or DeNiro looking terrified as the stunt-driver beside him roars that BMW through the underpass in Paris?

tho does Bullitt have a crash close up of Gene Hackman screaming at a pedestrian? I think you’ll find it does not.

but that was Peter Bradshaw, who also gave Spectre 5 stars, after trashing Skyfall. Felt like he was over compensating, and probably still is.

you’re right except thats not Sean. He didn’t do his until the fourth one. Not sure who Jumpy McSwingy is, but it’s not Sean.

a Far Side movie? oh please, oh please...
