Dear Mr 1242, Laserface

“... graphic novel writer Bryan Lee O’Malley...”

on the Jimmy Fallon/Jon Hamm spectrum, at least he wasn’t in black face.

I think it’s in the oral history thats mentioned in the story, that one of the writers says “with Diane, the show was a romantic comedy; with Rebecca, it was a sex comedy”.

10:00 on Friday night, correct?

the most chilling scene in the movie was when they slipped a recording into the archive and made everyone believe they’d just forgotten it. Could totally see that happening and that freaks me out a bit.

“it’s money. Thats why they call it money”

it certainly felt like Pratt thought so too - he was almost channelling Black!

the scene in the bathroom, when Jack Warden interrupts Warren and Lee, is so great. Jack’s second thought... checks again... “the steam!” “Oh, right...”

so did Jack Black turn down the part of the older brother?

hell yes to Dragonslayer. Love that movie! Wonder if it’s on D+...

not that the movie made much sense either...

That song is, like it or not, such a standard, it’s hard to believe it wasn’t a hit at first release. And wasn’t that the bs reason it wasn’t eligible for an Oscar? Oscar’s are only for original songs?

When it came out, the Post cover looked like it fell out of a spaceship. It was like looking at the future.

ladies and gentlemen, the patron saint of Ireland, the first Irish Pope of the church of Rock, St. Phil of Lynott, in a casual pose:

my problem with the Fox Confessor Brings The Flood cover is, from a distance, the hedge makes the girl look like she has a huge hair do. Great record, though.

oh dooood.... where do I start...

yeah, most superhero movie fights aren’t as good as the equivalent in the comics, but I’ll make a case for Iron Man vs. Thanos in Infinity War. That was beautifully choreographed and really intense. I think I actually said “ooof!” at one point.

he really has been phoning it in for the last few years, hasn’t he? I think it was over when he wrote that watching Infinity War was like “being a pallbearer at the funeral of cinema" or some such nonsense. And then he reviewed a cartoon ladies ass....

I get bored by having to say it.
