I saw it a few years back and there wasn’t much too it, so I can’t believe its the second largest anything. There’s small towns in south Armagh who do it bigger.

come to Toronto on Saturday and watch a bunch of sad wee men who look just like that photo, march past city hall.

I’ll remember the car-jack/assasination. That belongs in the pantheon of great action scenes.

honestly, I think they transcend pop, and stand with the best of Cole Porter, the Gerswhins, Irving Berlin.

I get what you’re saying, but the counterpoint to that argument is right there in the movie: Ed Sheeran. He hasn’t written one song good enough to be in the Beatles catalogue and he’s a gigantic star.

and now I want to see those movies mashed up.

was he? It’s been a few years since I saw it, but I thought it was in the scene where he helps Spock “perform surgery on a bomb”, before they launch the torpedo.

you’re totally correct. You’ve made me realise that I’ve blended both movies in my head and am not sure which one is which - I was certain Nat King Cole was in a western with Clint.

Totally. And Bones muttered “I’d give good money to shut him up...” is gold. I say that to myself a few times a week....

so good in Undiscovered Country. “DON’T WAIT FOR THE TRANSLATION ANSWER THE QUESTION.” But then his lovely underplayed first lines, which are basically “tttttt...” And the bolted-on eye-patch? Genius.

you talk about Cat Ballou and don’t mention Clint? C’mon man - anyone who complains about Rex talk/singing in My Fair Lady needs to check out Dirty Harry talking to trees in every pitch possible, all in the same verse. And none of them correct.

came here to post that: baffled that anyone in 2019 would describe Chris Claremont as the author of “The Dark Phoenix Saga”. I mean, if you watch the movie, they credit Chris, Cockrum, Wein and Byrne right in the credits...

its where the accident happened. It’s even mentioned in the text that you copy-and-pasted.

so that’s where Sal went after he was chased out of Sterling Cooper...

Ha! Good for you for reading Wikipedia.

I actually like Comedians in Cars, but that isn’t a good one. But boy, is it awkward. And I think it’s one of the shortest ones, because, wow, they don’t have much to talk about...

did you see the Hasan Minhaj episode? Now, that was awkward...

“big bad kind of screw up” is a remarkably understated way of characterizing the killing of two people by driving drunk on the wrong side of the road, then skipping out of the country before the trial.

so brilliant. And doesn’t their Dad suggest a machine-gun nest on the roof, to really bring in the crowds?!

except for the Fight and Host categories, I agree with more winners here than I did at the Oscars. So, 50 is the new tween?
