that looks excellent! OK, where’s a good place to start reading?

is Scarlett Johansen busy?
Idris Elba in Skyfall.
but Kevin Costner as Neo in the Matrix makes zero sense to me.
sorta. They’re from the east coast, and I don’t think any of them live in Toronto, but yeah, they’re a big influence on the local scene. Basically: Toronto wishes they could claim them.
yup, good point, my mistake. As I said, it was off the top of my head, and even if he was unsigned around 2010, he doesn’t belong in that group.
agreed (and I think they’ve played bigger places than the Horseshoe even in Toronto) but I’m not sure they where doing much in 2010...
Nina from The Americans! Oh, she would have been perfect. She even looks just like the George Perez comic book version!
yup, that’s a lot of bands...
yes, Feist is from Calgary and many of the band members in BSS are from all over Canada, but around 2010, Feist was living in Kensington Market, and the the BSS where both living in Toronto and recording in Toronto.
hey, I’m not doing his work for him...
now theres a What If: imagine Emily Blunt as Black Widow in all the other MCU movies. I like Johannsen, but Blunt really looks like a killer Russian double agent.
“...an Eastern seaboard city’s indie rock scene. (Mine was Baltimore, not Toronto, so the music was better.”
The Fallout trailer is brilliant, but it has to lose points for including at least two scenes that weren’t in the movie.
think you’re right - was it shown on the end credits of Filth and Fury?
ok, he does look a bit like Ray Reardon...
difficult to believe now, but Bela gave yer great-granny some serious hots. Seems he was the late 30's epitome of all that.
Isn’t there a documentary that shows a pre-Poques Shane McGowan in the crowd at a Clash concert?
nah, its a classic story and totally compelling, if it’s done right. But it certainly seems to have the greatest ratio of “getting it horribly wrong/getting it very right” - perhaps because it’s so open to interpretation?
i can see that, though I don’t think she was that good. It did feel like a performance, rather than acting, but I’m not taking anything away from her - she’s excellent. And her chemistry with Cooper is amazing, probably the best thing about the movie.
