It’s certainly not robbing the character Janeway of her dignity any worse than getting space salamander pregnant.
Do you get to count multiple kisses on the same lip lock? I don’t know these things, I’m genuinely asking.
This weekend’s New York Times op-ed about the ageism people over 50 face in the workplace includes a charming…
NOPE. There’s peaceful protest that reminds him daily of what he has done (either in silence or in shouting, but always at an appropriate distance) and then there’s men outside his house carrying weapons and threatening to rape him. The second one sounds uncomfortably like the threats posed to the gamer women who are…
It was that, as well. But I liked it.
Thanks for sharing Spencer’s article. That was a tough read and I hadn’t even heard of Jack Trice before.
Does it have anything to do with...
We first see Hitler with a gun in his mouth ready to end it all, only to be stopped by news that the secretly developed super-soldiers are turning the tide. Are you allowed to say that writing Hitler is fun? Do you have any boundaries in terms of approaching him, like not ever wanting him to feel sympathetic?
Grimm is/was Buffy the Vampire Slayer without Buffy. I’m sure this analysis has been done before, but ya’ got your Chosen One (although he’s not the only one, but you rarely used to see another one on the show), ya’ got your Scoobies (several of whom are among the creature-types that the Chosen One faces), ya’ got…
The fact that Grimm was still on when Person of Interest had been canceled really stuck in my craw. I have nothing against Grimm, I’ve enjoyed it when I have watched it. But it is far and away a harder sell to a mainstream audience than PoI was.
yeah... There’s not much that can be done when the show gets cancelled so suddenly...
I would’ve liked that too, but I really love the bleakness and emotional devastation that came with him sacrificing EVERYTHING to make sure his friend had a good life before setting of for god knows what.
Idea for show revival that’s been kicking around in my head for years:
I tied, and the website was borked and wouldn’t show me the login, which I have, it kept thinking my PC browser was mobile.
I didn’t try the app, but did you get commercials when using it? If so, then it isn’t “free.” You’re paying for it the same way you do for broadcast TV.
On the other hand, if the network restricts the usage to those with cable, they can’t turn around and blame people without cable for not watching. They did both.
Yup I hear you. That’s a major failing from the powers that be. Why would you download the app to watch the show...when you can just watch the show from your cable provider?
If they’re going to shove a shitload of advertisements and product placement down my throat then yes, they damn well better not be charging me for it too.
But they are, and they would be, so, I didn’t watch any of it. At all.
