At the very least hearing his gravel voice more would be good. John Reese and his inability to yell or talk at a normal volume will be missed.

Was her dad a cop too? I’ve heard very little about the show, so I don’t know. Frequency might be interesting depending on how they approach it. I think it would be interesting if the main character was investigating her dad’s death in the line of duty (if he was a cop), which had been listed as a cold case.

One of The Simpsons writers must be a ham, or at least know one. In this picture the frequency shown on the radio is a valid one in the 15 meter band. It’s even the right band for communicating between the US and the distant island where Homer was hiding out as a missionary. I can even guess at the writer’s license…
