Agree. I remember watching Apollo 13 and thinking. I know they survive. Where is the tension?

My thought exactly. Ah the Rocketeer. I wrote the art director a letter telling him how much I loved the look. I have Rocketeer trading cards. I wanted a big poster of the Rocketeer, but never bought one because... but loved that movie.
True, but it also could be seen as a gift. The way that Root lost it when she left and Harold and Root fight over it added a lot of depth to the show. Carter leaving did too, and that all felt real (with the exception of John and Carter love scene—ugh)
And Ben Garazza as Ben Grimm!
David Hyde Pierce as Jonathan T. Storm!
With Julie Duffy from Newhart as Susie Storm!
It’s Jack Tripper as Mr. Fannnntastic!
That was great, thanks!
Voice of Lucy.
I swear to the powers that be that I did NOT read that comment before I made mine. I will now follow you because clearly we have mind melded some time in the past.
interesting point. and of course at some point Lucy’s mind will be downloaded into a body so that John can return the favor.... Oh forgot this isn’t that kind of show...
So a question of the dog whisperers and dog behaviorists out there.
I just finished reading a section of Seveneves. And they talked about recycling water and how precious it was. Bryan: Great recap. I’m glad someone else has picked up on the skills that Elliot uses are not just computer based. People like to say hackers use, ‘Social engineering” because it sounds like something you go to college to get a degree in. It’s often about understanding people, policies and procedures.
Jan in the Pan! I have that movie!
This actually sounds interesting.
About 42 million at the box office.
Agreed. I also liked the episodes with Ronnie Cox. You just knew that he was going to use the Stargate program for his own power. That was where the civilian control over military was going to get abused. The various solutions that Hammond and O’Niell used with the help of other races and people like Mayborn were…
Also, one of the great episodes is the one where they get all the power and access to the technology before they are ready, and they show just how detrimental it is, not just to the person who has the knowledge (Daniel) but also to the people who are around him. It shows WHY the Asquard don’t just had over tech and…
Thank you Adam! Of course the, “Han will be lucky and trick them.” part is also a factor, but shear power? Enterprise, hands down.
