Here's the thing. The humans wrote those. Could a computer actually write its own joke?
Oh yeah. I love how it just disappears around you to get you to the past.
"I am not less perfect than Dr. Emilio Lizardo."
Nah, don't listen to him io9, that's just the Oxytocin talking.
What I like about this article is that it gives us permission to read an article on boobs, for science! Clearly a good idea for boosting traffic at Io9. Take THAT Gawker!
Love it.
I just take photos of myself.
I think that the Internet staying down is not the problem, but I do think that chunks of the internet being messed up or taken out for significant time is possible if someone wanted to. And if you want to calculate the "down time cost" for no Internet it would be huge.
Why go out side the family for explosions?
I agree. That was one of my favorite books of the last few years. I also like the way he turned on it's head the whole issue of old men sending out young men to do their fighting for them.
I like these. Thanks. I have an old hand cranked phone that I'd like to turn in to a phone station. I'd like to turn the hand crank into something that can power a light or charger and then take apart the mouth piece and earpiece and replace with a good quality mike and ear piece.
Or as I liked to refer to it. Space Colon, Above and Beyond
The 2012 Hugo Awards Ceremony. Hmmm, what have I heard about that? Something about Ustream, copybots, blah, blah, blah. OH right now I remember. This is the year were CHARLIE JANE WON THE FUCKING HUGO!!!!111!!!
Here is my review. When Drones Attack! Daniel Suarez’s book Kill Decision http://bit.ly/Q2ucGK
Hi Charlie Jane. I mean . "Hi HUGO AWARD WINNING" Charlie Jane.
Yes! One of the things I love is knowing the inside scoop with the io9 staff as my window into the world. I also want the people who produce these things see Charlie Jane as an excellent author so that they will option her novelette for a movie. Short Stories and novelettes often make great movies.
Here is the key sentence: We couldn't file a legal complaint in time to see io9's Charlie Jane Anders accept the Hugo for best novelette
Came here looking for that joke, leaving satisfied.
I agree. Monroe is my favorite character, more of him. I also like Rosalie, she is is fun. I like when here and Monroe work together. Nicks mom? Intense, creepy, I kind of like her in the picture.
