I hope that Robots to clear up nuclear waste have been created by the time of this commercial, that's something we really need right now.

Yikes. I'm getting a Bionic Woman vibe. Even Katee Sackoff couldn't save the writing in that dog.

Renewal!

It's not just you! It made me laugh. That was on purpose. They wanted Boys ti buy underoos too.

The parts were all "stock" parts in shows where the writing isn't very subtle in the first place.

My thought exactly!

Yes, we should make a distinction between the shit-bags who deploy the military for politics and profit and the good grunts. You of course know that progressive peace-mongering dirty hippies have now been trained since the Vietnam war to preface every criticism of the military with, "I support our troops but..."

Kyle Chandler the actor who played Eric Taylor is amazing. If anyone can keep this movie grounded, it's him. He's Jimmy Stewart and Tom Hanks rolled into one. So excited to see him on the big screen.

It sounds interesting, and it will be nice for the Marines to be seen fighting a "good war". Color me shocked that it is a love letter to the Marines. If it was not a love letter to the military they wouldn't get to play with all the equipment. I'm sure everyone here knows that the military looks for and greenlights

Yeah I liked Pandorum too, I liked the scope and scale of it. I'm totally with Meredith on this. I think part of it is that our "news" organizations don't tell the truth. As many of you know, Fox news actually won a court order that demonstrated that they didn't have to tell the truth.

Annalee Newitz If I could flag your photo as inappropriate, I would. I really find it offensive and not funny at all. This is not an animation of a first person shooter or a fake gun. That is a real person and a real gun.

Herald. I don't know you or your job, but if was a CEO in need of an honest, non-yes man I'd hire you in a flash. Well said, well reasoned and spot on.

I'm so glad you brought up Marshall. He is a real hero to anyone who had to drink milk and have a bland diet for years under the theory that ulcers were caused by stress.

It's not a spoiler if I haven't seen the movie or read the script, but I read something about, "the last thing he remembered was he was flying a helicopter in Iraq. So I'm guessing the big reveal is that he too is dead and they used his computer modeled brain to access the old data memories inside the head of the guy

I used to call Seven Days, "The Worst Show on TV" of course I watched every single episode. I'm just a nut for time travel stories.

"big tits save lives" now that is a slogan I can get behind. Or in front of. What ever. I think they know their target market.

Not caring about the characters and what they do is pretty much my feelings too. But I *want* to care. I like the concept. I like the lead. I think Michael Chiklis is an amazing actor but like most actors he needs good writers. I've now learned that it pays to follow show writers verse the shows stars. That is why

I was so scared by that scene I blocked it out of memory. I know I watched that film. I know I saw the whole movie, yet I don't remember that scene. I guess that is what they mean by traumatic memory loss.

I believe that was some of the theory behind "Defying Gravity" They also were shooting commercials in space.

Thank you for reminding me how Creepy I thought the American Movie was. And now that we know more about Mel Gibson, creepier still.
