That’s the problem I have with any new service. If I’m paying for a subscription service, I better be able to watch it on my TV without going through extraordinary means (granted things have gotten a lot better than they used to be). I guess as long as I can watch it via my Roku, I’m good.

Add BMW to that list. Lots of E36's, E46's, and E39's out there around the 200k mark. My wife’s E53 just hit that point (my E39 is going to hit 250k soon).

This is very true. A lot of the things that become the most frustrating issues (i.e. German electrical gremlins) are things that die from age and not from mileage.

$40k for starting price is the likely price (I think $35k is the smart spot). It’s better than a 370Z (who should be its competition on paper) and would be closer to a loaded Mustang GT. And they have to space it a bit from the 86. If it is up by the Corvette/GT350/M2/718, it’s a really hard sell.

I always wondered this. How many other of the Speed sets are driver specific? My McLaren one did not have Hamilton or Button, and the Ferrari truck didn’t have Kimi (I may have my years a bit mixed up on the Ferrari). The new Mercedes F1 set doesn’t have Hamilton.

Companies will offer discounts to special interest groups all of the time. Helps them market directly to these groups, it’s just advertising. SCCA gets discounts at a lot of places, same with BMW CCA, ASME, etc.
