That sounds EXACTLY like Greek statues.

Makes sense on the surface, but this would inevitably lead to a firestorm of enraged parents followed by advertisers pulling out.

Regarding the authors comment on 1943 let me explain it to you like you are five … in the 80’s it was universally accepted that Japan was wrong for their participation in World War 2 and America “saved the free world”. Japan and Germany never complained about their standing post World War 2 because they also believed

Hard-working immigrant achieves the American dream of constantly failing upward” should be the headline of the story of where he lands next.

i have noticed that in weightlifting, there are a lot of anime fans for the same reason, the training motif, constantly getting stronger and absurd feats of strength being possible at the end.

Minor spoilers - I think the Spy x Family adaptation suffers a little from lower budget than expected and mediocre pacing but the manga doesn’t even really hit its stride until they adopt the family dog IMO. When it’s at its best though? Easily top 3 currently ongoing series.

Oddly Faye is the only part that is growing on me with each teaser/trailer.  Maybe because she is something different instead of a pale copy of the anime.

Live action “X” isn’t for the fans. It’s because adults in the west are more likely to watch something that isn’t animation.

I’m already liking Slightly Goofier Faye, I’m glad they’re doing their own thing. So much of what made the anime what it was feels like it’d be nearly impossible to translate to live action anyway. There’s a kind of stillness and atmosphere that isn’t really possible with real people.

Light novel titles fill me with such an overwhelming rage. It isn’t the 1840's, come up with an actual title for your god damn work, don’t write a synopsis and call it a day.

...someone’s going to do bad things to those...aren’t they?...yea, i know the answer too.

The more I’ve read about the heatwaves the more I’ve realized how many places DON’T have AC.

Definitely a dry goods hopper of some sort. You wouldn't have that steep of a slant in the bottom for liquids. Open top means indoor production use, so probably milling or food factory.

I wouldn’t call it harsh at all; Alliance lacked the fully story focused aspect that people loved from Tie Fighter and XvT - which a lot of people miss, and was a major critique of Alliance when it came out.

Personally, I think Alliance was the best of them all, and what story it did have was charming and enjoyable to

I guess people are pretty adamant that Discos in that tight range are fine, but I’d still recommend something under warranty for this kid.

There’s something to be said about how a car’s reputation for reliability is supported by the owners who hang on to them. Subarus and Volvos come to mind as vehicles that may not necessarily be as reliable as a Honda or Toyota, but they’re generally owned by people who are a little more diligent an consistent with

Easily damaged.

They tend to get broken off.

Norcal here and also looking to sell a house this summer. Sorry, but I’m maximizing my profit from my property. You can scoff at that, but if someone IS willing to pay 100k over asking then there’s no chance that I’d entertain anything less.

That’s not how it works.
