I always hold the phone now but once I handed it to a drunk friend to look at a photo that had sent in a text. She immediately started trying to swipe and got mad that it wouldn’t. WHY do people do that?

I know this doesn’t really help but that is a fucking STUPID reason to fire somebody, and if they are that petty over such little bullshit then you are better off out of there. I have every confidence that you will find a better gig with a company who doesn’t let stupid nonsense rule the day.

That’s true. They also could only have sport channels on the tvs in the whole facility or some other such nonsense. The real point is what you said. No way that man meant for his money to be spent on such fripperies. Complete bullshit.

This is how I took that part of the story: he ended his life in an assisted living facility. I doubt highly that he had any control over what he was watching and learned all those stats out of boredom because his mind was clearly into that sort of thing and what else could he do?
