Me too! I always notice and get excited that somebody bothered to have a left-handed character. Of course, it’s probably because of the way the scene is set up but still! Don’t take this away from me, my own cynical brain!

Right! It’s so crazy! I just want cheap shaving cream and not to smell like a dude all day. :( I mean, life is better now and I can afford what I like but still. Why can’t there be a non-gendered, non-scented option of all toiletries for everybody?

I was going to suggest these same books! I know Preston & Child maybe isn’t the highest of literary whatsits, but damn if their stories aren’t fun and engaging. Plus, Pendergast is such a great character. And the other “Rising” books were great, too!

I feel for you. :( I’ve found I notice stronger smells a LOT more as I age, and it’s kind of frustrating. Like, sitting next to some woman wearing That One Bad-Smelling Perfume is just torture. My heart really, really goes out to you.

Everyone that counts, anyway! I really am surprised by that. I mean why should anybody give a shit, right? Weird.

It’s not unscented if it has a musk scent, which it does. It’s clearly scented but marked as not scented but for men.

But it’s not unscented if it smells manly, and it does. Products can be manufactured to be genuinely non-scented and for things like shaving cream, they should be. I’m not even scent-allergic and it makes me crazy. I can’t imagine what a pain in the ass it must be for someone with a legit allergy.

It’s not that we’re willing to pay more, it’s that sometimes it’s the only choice. For example, shaving cream. I am a woman, and I have frequently been super-poor. So during those times I would buy men’s “unscented” shaving cream, because it’s literally half the price of women’s for twice the amount of product.…
