I think the bottom line should be that wearing something, anything, that covers your mouth and nose is better than absolutely nothing at all (IF you handle it properly).

My wife and I have more than once managed to avoid me getting her sick, and vice versa, by sleeping in separate rooms, washing hands, and keeping surfaces clean. We didn’t have to “not be with each other,” we just had to spend a couple of days cleaning well and not making out.

Uh well first off, no crunch doesn’t “happen in any industry” and secondly the crux of the problem is they don’t EVER have the perfect scope of work.

I would say movie and TV development is akin to creating video games as they are huge artist undertakings being done largely for profit, but why do we not hear so much about horrible working conditions in those industries?

There is a night-and-day difference between crunch where something caught fire and people need to pull some extra hours or a weekend to clean it up, versus Game Dev “Crunch” where 6 day 90 hour work weeks for 6 months straight are built into the development timeline from the get-go.

They really need to look at their order of operations.

I remember the first time I heard that FX were doing a Fargo series and I went into it without expecting much. It’s now probably one of my favourite tv shows and I think that Season 2 is probably one of the finest seasons of television ever produced.

That and 2/3 of those draftees are unfit to serve. We are simply too fat and sick as a society for a draft to be worthwhile.
