I’m not a big fan of her voice (at least not what I’ve heard of it live from her Christmas special) but I agree she seems talented yet directionless like a lot of former child stars.

Miley Cyrus should have been a super star. Family connections, successful Disney career, beautiful, distinctive, rich vocals. Dolly Parton is her freaking godmother. People have spun gold from far less.

Does Miley write all her own music or does she largely collaborate with other artists? I didn’t think much of her when she was squirming onstage with Robin Thicke, but I’ve come to see her as phenomenally talented and charismatic.

I agree. In my case, I realized pretty early on that I don’t want kids, but that I actually think I could be good parent if I had to. It’s just not something I want.

Patricia Clarkson is a goddess. Watch Lars and the Real Girl or her beautiful moment on Parks and Rec and tell me she’s not. This just ices the cake.

I realized how I didn’t want kids in college, and while I had a couple times I questioned it (always for the sake of a relationship - dumb me), I’ve become more and more secure in the belief that I made the right choice. Like Clarkson, I have some nieces I adore, and I am so grateful I get to be their aunt, but hell…

It’s easier for men (which I am) and I enjoy being 49 and single and living a fun life. I still get it from my married friends and their wives “you never wanted kids or to be married” 1. Fuck no, 2. Meh I met someone along time ago and it didn’t work out and now I know it was for the best.

I remember coming to the same conclusion in my early 40s. No regrets.

Never had a kid, never wanted one. I’m a musician, and my life has always been 100% about music. I did marry, though- 7 years ago at age 56, but marriage was never a goal of mine... we just did it to save on taxes after selling and buying another house! Practical reasons, ya’ll....

It’s fucking sad that in the futuristic year of 2023, it’s still headline-worthy for a woman to say she doesn’t want kids.

Three cheers for someone being honest about not feeling like they would be a good parent.  I wish more people would.

Weed isn’t a performance enhancing drug. It makes no sense for them to test for it in sports. 

I definitely got better at understanding him as Rebels went on, so I’m not sure how much was them making him easier to understand or me just getting used to him.

I am a huge fan of Rebels-I watched it all with my kids (Clone Wars too), and the series is just great Star Wars. I can’t wait for this.
