As a moderately successful indie author myself, I can tell you that the stunts some authors will engage in to promote their books know no bounds. I can guarantee you she’s not the only one to fake her death; she just got caught doing it.

If this is true, and she did indeed fake her death by suicide, that is incredibly fucked-up. Like, that’s legit a horrible thing to do.

I grew up in the 1960s, had a white faux fur muff on a string, and a cute little bonnet to match! Hated the bonnet, but have been thinking of making a muff as gloves are a bit of a pain. 

I had 2 muffs as a child, one was real rabbit fur and one was faux (I grew up in the ‘80s). They were both on a string that I wore around my neck. And while I looked adorable, any time I had to pull my hands out of the muff it was tragic. Minnesota winters are very cold.

Truly! Can’t imagine why it would be critical to get everything as legally buttoned up as possible in anticipation of future court challenges!

Truly cannot believe this article doesn’t mention that there is plenty of reporting about how these policies are actively in progress, have been in progress since an executive order was issued last year, and are apparently about to be rolled out.
