I’m sure it’s not a big deal to sign a waiver, but I don’t even understand why a waiver is needed in the first place? I’ve never had to sign a waiver for any prescription medication I’ve had, no matter what the other side effects could be.

Agreed. I took accutane at age 20 and I wasn’t able to tolerate birth control. I had to sign many waivers, but that was fine with me.

I dont think it’s bad to have folks sign a waiver saying they understand if they got pregnant while on the medication it can cause birth defects but it should 100% remain the patients choice.
