The weirdest part to me was when he compared it to Watergate as though that was a bad thing? We found out the president did bad things. How far gone are we that people will start to think the Watergate scandal was somehow un-american?
How can anyone not be flippant? They’ve been accused of multiple felonies and have barely spent any time in court, let alone jail/prison. They are rich, famous, and have been getting away with their every likely illegal action. Getting caught stealing liquor is high comedy.
clearly undergoing a mental health crisis
Is it a mental health crisis though or are they just a massive piece of shit who’s finally done enough for the spell to break on it just being written off as eccentricity?
After binging more than half of it, I’m pretty comfortable (definitely more than with Dune) saying newbies should be able to follow it just fine.
Have never read comics and planning to watch tonight as the trailers looked great. Will report back.
I’ve not read the comics but I enjoyed the first two episodes I watched this morning quite a lot.
Then each and every Sandy Hook parent get a turn to kick him in the nuts.
Take ALL of his money and anything he makes for the next 5 years and his finances must be overseen by the court. Take his studio and equipment to the crusher and make him watch it destroyed. Then each and every Sandy Hook parent get a turn to kick him in the nuts. Then we can start talking about making this POS suffer…
If he ends up living in a van down by the river with the gay frogs, I’ll be happy
$800,000 A DAY?! Jesus. For peddling utter bullshit?
Always pay your legal bills!

Also- I think the GOP misread the situation and thought for years that the majority of people were voting for them because they opposed abortion, not in spite of it. I think this shows that a lot of people were so sure that Roe was a done deal that they were voting GOP for a myriad of other reasons and just assuming…
My hope is that this back-fires on Republicans spectacularly. They could have kept Roe and fund-raised off of this issue and the evil baby-killing Demonrats forever, but now people who normally don’t vote and don’t give a shit because things are mostly fine for them are getting off their asses because this affects…
Most Americans are for things that help people. It’s just the republicans have done such a good job of gerrymandering and such that they will have minority rule soon.
Holding this during the primary was also supposed to increase Republican turnout and decrease Democratic. So this was intended to give the measure the best possible chance of passing, and it still lost. Americans are pro-choice.
Free Speech isn’t free of consequence, why is that so hard for people to get?
