Kinda puts a new spin on the “should police pursue car thieves” debate, doesn’t it? If I’m going to be held liable for cleanup or whatever results from a crash after somebody steals my car, I’m all for the cops chasing them down and collaring them as quickly as possible. 

The grille seems to have survived relatively intact. 

I was in an accident and received a bill from the fire department for fluid cleanup. I didn’t like it, but I get it. How in the hell can they bill the owner of a stolen car? It wasn’t his fault! Maybe they billed the owner because the thief wouldn’t pay anyway.

Shamefully, I must report he is a much more adept race care driver than I ever was or will be. Sad days.
